Fade in - Scene 1 
EXT CHURCH GRAVEYARD 
A group of people looking down at a graveyard while PRIEST
ALEXANDRA, reading from the bible, perfectly placed rosary beads around his neck,says his last words. Everyone wearing black,women in black 
dresses with veils over their faces, men in black suits with their hats in their hands to show their respect.


The coffin has just been lowered.


 PRIEST ALEXANDRA:
  We therefore commit his body to the ground;
earth to earth,
ashes to ashes,
dust to dust; in the sure and certain hope of the Resurrection to eternal
life.

GIOVANNI POTERE, mid 30's dressed in his finest suit,a
red handkerchief hanging out of his jackets pocket, Trilby hat
placed back on his head, holding a single red rose is the only person
left standing in the graveyard still looking at the newly departed gravePriest Alexandra walks up-to him and asks

 PRIEST ALEXANDRA:
 How do you know the departed?
[pause]

Alexandra waits for a reply but gets nothing so continues
PRIEST ALEXANDRA:
Was he your friend?
[pause]
Maybe family?


Giovanni Potere replies with little emotion
GIOVANNI POTERE:
Will God forgive me for what I have done?



End of scene 1

Scene 2


INT INSIDE THE CHURCH - CONFESSION BOX
Giovanni Potere and Priest Alexandra enter the church and step into the confession box.
Shot reverse shot



GIOVANNI POTERE:
forgive me father for I have sinned
PRIEST ALEXANDRA:
What have you done my child?
End of scene 2
Scene 3

INT POTERE HOUSE GIOVANNI OFFICE
Shouting coming from the office. Giovanni Potere standing up on one side of the desk leaning over it. FRANKCO DEBOLE,wearing a brown suit, looking like his out of his comfort zone is sitting on the other side of the desk, hat in his hand, facing the ground not breaking contact with it. ROCCO
DISCEPOLO, tall with dark features, sitting in the corner of the office,
closer to Giovanna than Frankco, watching the argument continuing.
GIOVANNI POTERE:
Why did you dishonour our family?
I brought into this family, took you in, looked after you. Gave you a job,a home,a family and this is how you repay me?!?  
FRANKCO DEBOLE:
  It wasn't me boss.
   I promise you,
   you've gave me everything
    and never questioned why.
    I would never dishonour you boss.

Giovanna sits down and picks up a pen.
                      
 GIOVANNA POTERE:
    Ok Frankco, I believe you
But tell me,if it wasn't you do you know who it was?
Um maybe one of your boys?
               
  FRANKCO DEBOLE:
  My boys?
 NO!
They would never dishonour you or the family name
I dont know who it was
 I promise you boss.

Giovanna looks at Rocco in the corner and

nods at him while continuing to talk to Frankco.



    GIOVANNA POTERE:
    You're right Frankco
Im sorry
    Rocco will show you out.


Rocco standing up and walks towards the door to open it for
Frankco. Frankco follows and puts his hat back on, turns to Giovanna


FRANKCO DEBOLE:
Thank you Giovanna
I hope together we will find who the rat is,
Good day.

Frankco turns back to Rocco and walks out, Rocco follows behind him 
and closes the door.
SOUND GUN SHOTS


Giovanna heavily signs and crosses out a name in a black book

on his desk.


End of scene 3
Scene 4

INT. BACK TO THE CHURCH CONFESSION BOX



Priest Alexandra holding his rosary beads while his hands

shake [EXTREME CLOSE-UP OF HANDS AND BEADS]



PRIEST ALEXANDRA:
Dear heavenly father guide this man onto your path.
Show him the way for he has sined.
Giovanna leaves the confession box while Alexandra continues

to talk to God.


 PRIEST ALEXANDRA:
Dear heavenly father guide this man for he has sined.

End of scene 4

Scene 5

EXT CHURCH GRAVEYARD
Giovanna walking back to the grave that has been newly buried. He stops,
looks down and finally drops the rose on the grane.Giovanna starts to 
walk away, leaving the graveyard.
SOUND CLASSICAL MUSIC

END CREDITS ROLL
