Rewritten conversation between two characters and feedback

NEW ONE!!!!

ELISABETH:
Is that sweet enough?

HOWARD:
Yeah thanks3, why is it that every time I visit Cult is not here?

ELISABETH:
I know, his always off working and doesn’t come home till sunset.

HOWARD:
Does that man ever take a holiday?

ELISABETH:
His a worker, its all he knows, wakes up, works sleeps. He won’t take a break in his life. Its just not him.

HOWARD:
He needs to understand that people won’t think less of him if he just takes a step back and relaxes for once in his life. Don’t worry too much about him, its in his blood.

ELISABETH:

I know but as a wife it’s a normal thing to be worry.

Feedback

The New one is very good it shows a more Informal view on the original script which would be understandable if they knew each other

I like both of the scrips, I prefer the new one

I like Both scripts but i prefer the new one as it's got more detail in what the characters say

I think you've done the work very well, you're sentences are not that short and you still managed to mean the exact same things in both dialogues. Ris

FROM SAM LOLS

The second one seems more real! Like i can picturing it happening.

Own note:
I prefer the new one because i really had to think about every word i was putting in because i wanted to get the same idea across but didnt want the words to be simple.

Ownership and Funding

Ownership

Vertical Ownership
All stages of production are kept within the company
All stages of production is kept in one company

Pros
Communication
The products could come out quicker

Con
Less ideas - film seem alike because of the limited number of people
Final product might not come out the right way because they might not have the right or good enough people

Horizontal Ownership
Production is split between several companies
All stages of production is split between all different companies which split ownership

Pro
Having more people/different people look at it might create a good idea.
Different range of ideas and different from other films our there

Con
Communication, too many companies to talk too and get their points across, always changing

Some companies can be both. One big company that write and film and another company sends it off to the cinema's.

Funding

. public Vs private

Public
BBC and Channel 4 - public pay for it by the licence fee.

Private
Sky, MTV, ITV - Adverts, selling products, product placement.

Other ways of funding
  • Licence fee
  • Subscription
  • Pay per view
  • Sponsorship
  • Advertising
  • Product placement
  • Merchandising
  • Private Capital

(VT of reporter at location)

We have been given some information from scientist that these spiders are highly deadly and if bitten there poison is strong enough to kill a human within 7 hours after bitten.  (Back to presenter in the studio)

Digital sets
Matte getting rid of a colour
Camera - setting symbol

Job roles lighting
Responsibilities - lighting not to burn people cause of the lights. Not to have the lights into someone's face cause of the heat.
Equipment- gloves and light rod
Roles- lighting, work well use to the working of the lights knowing when they get hot. Why? Cause I've done lighting many times I've learned what light and were it's most effective in the studio and get more lighting in the studio with a different order of lights.

Shows
Director - quiz Show
Cast - quiz show
Lighting - talk show
Code and conventions - questions, rounds, buzzers, points, teams and host, panels, banter --
Med shots and med close up -- quiz show
Code and conventions - guest on seats. Host talking and walking around the set. Only talking to the people on set not the audience. -- wide shots, med shots med close up -- talk show

Show factual

Was it for real or staged? Would the audience be aware of what was staged?

No talk show wasn't a factual programme it was staged not talking about someone's real problems and was all written.
Quiz shows were factual because what the questions were about are things that are real
Contract with the viewer - what they think they are going to see and what they actually see.
