Commissioning process

Agents and what they can do for you


An agent is someone who represent's you and moves on your career. I think having a agent is a good idea because if you don't have the contacts to different companies or higher up people the agent can drop your name into the companies or to them people which will help you move up in the career ladder.

Commissioning editors identify books or media products. They are the person who says what will be made and sent out and what won't make it out for viewers to enjoy.

Warner Brothers 
Bigger companies have directors that will have producers who can green lit things. The producers that want to green lit something and make it into a film or show will have to show the director and make sure they agree.
